approach was all about relationships and he revisits that theme, but in a different way this time. In a business climate that seems to be all about looking out for yourself because you feel there is no other way, he tries a different approach and I like it.
Don't be scared off by the long preamble after the main title. "The breakthrough program to build deep, trusting relationships that create success and won't let you fail" sounds pretty touchy-feely, more like a therapy session but crack the cover and read on. You will be glad you did.
What would it feel like to know that someone else was looking out for you? What if they did so, not because they will gain personally, but because they are part of a network of people who tell you what you need to hear and not just what you may want to hear. Imagine too, this group of friends and business associates collectively know your past and help you to push past your fears about the future.
The author looks at mindsets that can hold you back from achieving your goals and how, with the right team, you can surpass what you thought you could achieve.
This book fired me up. It pushed me to the realization that many of the friends and associates in my life already are part of my “dream team”. There is a blurred line in some cases where work associates have turned into friends and while I may not like what they tell me, I know they are sincere.
You should read this book, and his earlier one as well. I guarantee you will find more than a single nugget of helpful information.
