You run your own business and it is slow. You have expenses to cover and have to keep going. Okay, start with the numbers. How much money do you need to make a year? How many hours can you work and how many clients can you handle? How many jobs do you need to do for each client to make your target? And while you are crunching numbers, how many competitors are out there? What is the value of your industry services across the market that you cover?
If you don't want to look at numbers, you are playing a losing game. They don't have to terrify you. Rather, look at numbers as a challenge. Can you find one new client this week? How many phone calls will it take to connect and turn a potential client into an actual client?
There are so many ways you can turn numbers to your advantage that the possibilities may surprise you. Of course you have to add quality, reliability and loyalty to the client into the bundle of numbers as well.
You may be looking at some numbers with a negative in front of them right now, but it doesn't have to remain that way. If you understand the numbers you need, and the power of those numbers, there really are no limitations. Remembers, there are lots of numbers out there. Find the right ones and life, and business, is good.
