This blog is being posted later in the day because my hard drive decided to take a vacation from all the hard work it does every day. Because I couldn't access the files on my main computer, I have been trying to deal with emails through a tablet (fun, when dealing with a massive volume), and accessing my main email account through webmail, rather than Outlook.
There have been advantages to being able to access email through the web, which I regularly do with Hotmail and Gmail, but for Outlook, I keep sub-directories of collections of emails on the hard drive to avoid filling my allotted space on Outlook. These sub-directories are, for the most part, the historical reference. I don't need them every day but when I need them, I REALLY need them.
To say today has been frustrating is an understatement. I don't have my work computer back but I am working on a laptop, rather than composing this on the tablet. One step forward.
Technology is great, I will admit, but when it fights back, it isn't a fair fight because I am outmaneuvered. One point for technology today.
